Recently, Microsoft announced that it will be phasing out Skype for Business. Microsoft will transition to Teams, a chat-based collaboration workplace in Office 365, as its core communication platform for the enterprise. University Technology Services will roll out Microsoft Teams to all users on Wednesday, August 1, and discontinue using Skype for Business on August 31.  The Teams application will automatically appear on university-provided computers sometime in mid to late July.
