0Author readings today through Friday at University Campus
Saint Leo University welcomed its second cohort of students into the low-residency Master of Arts in creative writing over the past weekend, and students will be at University Campus throughout the week.
Concurrently, visiting authors who are speaking during the residency program and participating faculty are presenting selections from their work in daily readings that are free and open to the public. This Creative Writers Series began Saturday and sessions continue each day this week through Friday, July 21, at 5:30 p.m., in TECO Hall in the School of Business building.
Two authors present at each session. The final session on Friday will feature novelist-and-literary podcaster Tom McAllister and Distinguished Visiting Artist Benjamin Busch. Busch is an actor-writer-filmmaker-photographer and veteran of two deployments to Iraq as a U.S. Marine. Full details on each session are available on the Saint Leo website.
