0Volunteers needed on February 21 — tell your students!
Are your students looking for fun and enjoyable ways to get community service hours? Do they need to boost their academic résumés or CVs? The School of Arts and Sciences is looking for reliable student-volunteers for “A Celebration of Black History.”
The event will take place on Tuesday, February 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Student Community Center Boardrooms.
Duties will include setting up and cleaning up; attending to activity stations, such as the photo booth and superhero artifacts; guiding attendees; and spreading good energy. Students do not need to volunteer for the entire day. Volunteers may sign in and out as they are available.
A certificate of volunteer service, along with a letter documenting total volunteer service hours, will be provided upon request.
Students who are interested in this or any future volunteer service opportunities should please contact Jennifer “Megan” Orendorf at jennifer.orendorf@saintleo.edu. They should indicate the specific time frame for which they’d like to volunteer. They will receive a confirmation email with further details if/when they have been chosen.
The School of Arts and Sciences thanks everyone for assistance!
