Saint Leo hosting fifth teacher boot camp
Saint Leo University invites first-time K-12 teachers joining the Pasco County School District to a free Beginning Teacher Boot Camp from 9 a.m. to noon, Friday, July 29, in the Student Community Center at University Campus. The program is now in its fifth year.
New teachers are welcome, whether they graduated from Saint Leo or another institution. This camp is offered as a public service by the School of Education and Social Services at Saint Leo. Some of the topics include classroom management strategies and contract rights and responsibilities.
Faculty and staff are asked to invite new teachers to this program. To attend, email beverly.ledbetter@saintleo.edu with the phrase Beginning Teacher Boot Camp 2016 in the subject line.
