Pep rally planned to support fall sports, build excitement for “White Out”
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to a school spirit pep rally, noon – 2 p.m. Thursday, August 31. Brought to you by the Spirit Committee, the pep rally will be held on Kirk Hall Lawn and will feature appearances by our favorite mascot, Fritz; Saint Leo’s own GoldRush Dancers and cheerleaders; and team members from the Saint Leo men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball teams. This year’s Saint Leo Athletics theme is “One Pride.”
A barbeque lunch will be served and attendees can look forward to music, yard games, and giveaways. The Dining Hall will be closed for lunch that day.
Bring your Saint Leo spirit as we build excitement for a Saint Leo “White Out” on Friday, September 1. Come out to cheer on our Lions at a home volleyball game at 3 p.m. in the Marion Bowman Activities Center. Later that day, men’s soccer will play a home game at 7 p.m. at the Saint Leo Soccer Field. Fans are encouraged to wear white, cheer loudly, and show that our community always ensures a strong home team advantage. The games are free for students to attend.
