Kathleen Pantalone to head Special Events for University Campus
WHAT
Kathleen Pantalone, who currently serves as the executive director of Wellness Center Services and Events, now will lead all university special events, conferences, camps, and rentals of facilities. This will include the coordination of internal and external events and programming.
The approval process will remain at the vice president and Facilities Committee level. Once an event is approved, Pantalone will oversee the scheduling of rooms, facilities operations requests, security and safety needs, dining or catering orders, as well as contracts and facility-use agreements.
Assisting Pantalone will be Carrie Fidurko, who has a dual role with Athletics and the Wellness Center and has been providing scheduling and logistics for the athletic camps and clinics.
“Kathleen brings great expertise in this role from her time at Saint Vincent College prior to coming to Saint Leo,” said Fran Reidy, vice president for Athletics, Wellness, and Recreation.
WHY
To have a central point of contact for the university in order to help internal and external users navigate the process of holding events at Saint Leo and to provide consistent pricing, contracts, insurance, and other required documents.
