0Business Day 2023 to focus on ‘Promoting Success and Avoiding Pitfalls’
WHAT
Saint Leo students who would like key guidance from business professionals as they begin their careers are invited to this year’s Business Day, Promoting Success and Avoiding Pitfalls, presented by the Tapia College of Business and the Division of Student Affairs. Events will be held at University Campus, Wednesday, March 1
A highlight will be the Mission-Driven Leaders: Conversations on Purpose event with alumnus Issac Henderson ’17, division vice president in the Jacobs Critical Mission Solutions – Advanced Engineering, Research & Operations business unit. This event is sponsored by the San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union.
Other activities during the day include a networking luncheon, sponsored by TECO Energy, that will provide students the opportunity to meet with leaders and business representatives; concurrent sessions in which students will learn about various businesses; a Business Day Career Fair during which students may make contacts and possibly interview for positions; and a discussion with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers player.
Current students and alumni, who would like assistance in preparing an industry-standard resume, may make an appointment with Career Services using Handshake.
