0Join faculty, staff for WTT (walk and talk time)
During the holidays, did you make a decision to get more exercise? Do you often sit at your desk for long periods of time without taking a break or stretching your legs? Recent research indicates that those who sit for extended periods of time are at an increased risk for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. So, let’s get up and walk!
Join your colleagues for a 10-minute stroll during Walk and Talk for Wellness at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Enjoy some conversation, renew your energy, and sharpen your mind before you jump back into that next task!
All faculty and staff are invited to walk on any of the following days and times this week:
- 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24
- 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25
Meet at the northeast corner of Saint Edward Hall, next to the Tapia College of Business building.
