0Jacksonville Center hosting ‘Polar Express’ fundraiser for Shades of Autism Parent Network
The Jacksonville Education Center is hosting Polar Express Family Night Out, a fundraiser for Shades of Autism Parent Network Inc., 6 – 9 p.m., Friday, December 16.
The train departs from the Jacksonville Education Center across from The Home Depot at Oakleaf Town Center, 9775 Crosshill Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32222.
Two special cars are available:
- The Hot Chocolate Car—children’s party—Dress your child (ages 4 to 12) in their favorite holiday pajamas as they watch The Polar Express movie, enjoy making popcorn balls, and other activities. A meal is included.
- The Dancing/Dining Car—parents only—Parents are invited to dress in their holiday best for a night of fun including trivia, games, music, dancing, and a photo booth. There will be a silent auction and raffle tickets will be sold. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served.
Ticket prices are $15 for a parent and $10 for a child. Ticket bundles also are available: $20 for a family of two (one child and one parent); $35 for a family of three (any combination); and $50 for a family of four (two children and two parents).
