0Christmas tree lighting celebration set for December 1
Kick off the holiday season with Saint Leo’s annual Christmas tree lighting! The event will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, December 1, by the Student Activities Building (SAB) clock tower.
Helping to make our spirits bright will be music by Lucas Nocera, interim director of University Ministry, as well as a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Everyone can have some hot chocolate while listening to the Christmas tunes and visiting with the Clauses.
There also will be a Christmas Tree Village featuring our student clubs and organizations hosting fundraisers and crafts, as well as a walk-through to see the windows of the SAB that have been decorated for Christmas. Stop by to see the great holiday paintings and who won the window-painting contest!
