0Attend Big Brothers Big Sisters orientation to learn about mentoring
Faculty, staff, and students are invited to learn more about being a mentor for children and young adults in Pasco County as well as surrounding counties by attending one of two orientation sessions at University Campus.
From noon to 1 p.m. on September 27 and October 17, Big Brothers Big Sisters will hold an orientation in room 117 in the Student Activities Building for those interested.
For as little as one hour a week, volunteers can add joy to the life of a child, and ultimately, contribute greatly to his or her potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 5 through young adulthood in communities across the country.
