Saint Leo staff and faculty are asked to invite anyone interested in pursuing a graduate degree in education to attend the Savannah Education Center’s recruitment event, 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 9.
The Georgia Professional Standards Commission announced in 2021 that Georgia educators may obtain a master’s, education specialist, or doctoral degree in education from a regionally accredited university outside of Georgia that receives state approval.
Educators (teachers, administrators, and others) are invited to join Dr. Fern Aefsky, director of the university’s Graduate Studies in Education, and Dr. Jodi Lamb, associate director, on June 9 to learn more.
Register for this in-person information session here. The Savannah Education Center is at 325 W. Montgomery Crossroads, Savannah, GA 31406.
In addition, Saint Leo’s Doctorate in Criminal Justice (DCJ) and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programs will host an information session at the same time, 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 9.
