Join in Women’s HERstory Celebration on March 8, International Women’s Day
Everyone is invited to the university’s Women’s HERstory Celebration, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, in the Glen E. Greenfelder and Janet L. Denlinger Boardrooms in the Student Community Center.
In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, the College of Arts and Sciences faculty will be joined by groups from the local community to celebrate great female icons and women’s journey for justice and equality. Attendees will enjoy interactive displays, arts and crafts, engaging activities, community and fun.
One of the highlights will be presentations via Zoom by the National Museum of Women Artists. There will be iPads available so those attending can make a virtual visit to the museum.
Those attending can complete the activity checklist as proof of your active engagement in all the day’s activities.
