Leaders in the Industry webinar focuses on federal resumes
Join Career Services as it hosts DeShan Mingo King, senior human resources specialist for the Recruitment Policy and Outreach Office at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), at 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, for a new webinar, Writing a Federal Resume, a Leaders in the Industry presentation.
King develops training materials and conducts informational briefings and workshops related to the overall federal hiring process for the public, in addition to providing technical assistance to other federal agencies that address skills gaps, recruitment, pathways programs, and other areas of federal hiring. King has a diverse professional background, including over 35 combined years of public service between the federal government and the U.S. Army.
Take this hour to hear about the “dos and don’ts” of federal resume writing. King will also return next month to share federal interviewing advice from her perspective as a U.S. Office of Personnel Management human resources professional.
