In Memoriam—Wanda Woodham

Saint Leo University mourns the loss of  Wanda Woodham, the mother-in-law of Angela Woodham, assistant registrar for the Registrar’s Office, and a sister-in-law to Nisa Woodham Harrelson, financial aid technical advisor for Financial Aid at the Tampa Student Support Center. Mrs. Woodham passed away on June 8, 2021 after a hard and well-fought battle with dementia.

She was the fifth of seven children and was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Odel Suits, Billy Suits, Edward Suits, Lorraine Bess, Louise Whaley and twin grandsons, Waylan and Wyatt Woodham.  She is survived by her sisters Sammy Stephens and Peggy Simms.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City at 11 a.m.  Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. on the same day.  She will be placed to rest at Chapel Hill Gardens after the service. In honor of Wanda’s love of plants, if you are choosing to send flowers, please send live plants instead of cut flowers.
