0Leaders in the Industry webinar to focus on communication skills
Career Services welcomes guest speaker Greg Greiwe ‘80, professional development specialist at Weld North Education in Cincinnati, OH, a leader in online education solutions. Greiwe possesses an in-depth knowledge of educational and market trends with an extensive background in instructional design and curriculum development. He has excellent verbal and written communication skills, which allow him to excel in all that he does.
Greiwe will speak at 4 p.m., Thursday, March 25, on the topic of communication skills.
The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) identifies communication as one of eight career competencies employers require in all job candidates. It is the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively in written and oral forms, to persons inside and outside of the organization. It includes public speaking skills; the ability to express ideas to others; and being able to write/edit memos, letters, and complex technical reports clearly and effectively.
