0Postponed—Cyber Stalking Awareness Training, April 3
Two cyber stalking awareness training sessions will take place on Friday, April 3, with one specifically for students and one for the community at-large (law enforcement, faculty, and staff). Both sessions will be offered in-person and online.

Speaker, Sergeant Heather Mundell
Sergeant Heather Mundell is a 20-year veteran with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Winter Haven, FL, and is assigned to the Central Patrol Division. Since 2005, she has assisted in more than 25 computer crime stings and online operations. Mundell has presented at several statewide gang and intelligence sharing conferences on the topic of using social media for investigative purposes in Florida and across the country. She also has presented for the National Gang Center and is an adjunct instructor at the Kenneth C. Thompson Institute of Public Safety. In addition to her work within law enforcement, Mundell speaks about social media to schools and churches to provide parents with awareness of the latest trending applications.
