In Memoriam — Jay McCarty
Saint Leo University mourns the loss of John “Jay” McCarty, husband of Sheryll McCarty, senior coordinator of Dining Services. He passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019. A lifelong resident of Dade City, FL, he worked for CF Industries and later was an inventory specialist for Mosaic.
In addition to his wife, Jay McCarty is survived by a son, Jimmie McCarty; a daughter, Brittney Gough; a brother, Ric McCarty; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, November 8, at First Baptist Church Dade City, 37511 Church Ave., Dade City, FL 33525.
