Budget workbook distribution and training coming December 2
The budgeting department will send the budget workbook and a PowerPoint file on December 2 to all applicable users. The hope and goal is make the budgeting process more streamlined, organized, and minimize time spent on the process.
They have reached out to the vice presidents of each department for names of employees who are responsible for any departmental budgeting. This would include operating expenses, capital, student workers, part time faculty adjuncts, and new hires for 2021.
The workbook is very similar to last year’s. The PowerPoint file provides training dates, support phone numbers, and helpful hints when working with the budget model.
