Kathleen Mary (Winn) Allen
The Saint Leo community mourns the loss of Kathleen Mary (Winn) Allen, who served as director of the Savannah Education Center for 10 years until her retirement. She passed away on April 25, 2019, after fighting ovarian cancer for six years.
She attended St. Mary High School in Lawrence. MA, and Merrimack College in Andover, MA. She also earned her master’s degree in education at the University of Massachusetts–Lowell.
In addition to her husband, Ted, she is survived by her son, David Allen, of Thousand Oaks, CA; daughter, Caroline Pretyman, of Wellesley MA; two granddaughters, Elle and Ava Pretyman.
A “Celebration of Life” open house reception will be held 3:30 – 6 p.m., Monday, May 6, at the Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury St., Andover, MA 01810. Burial services will be private. Donations can be made to the Center for Cancer Care at Winchester Hospital at https://giving.laheyhealth.org/winchester-hospital-give-donate/.
Michael Frank Thornton
The Saint Leo community mourns the loss of Michael Frank Thornton, husband of Annie Thornton, assistant director of Advancement Services and Planned Giving, who passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019.
