Leaders in the Industry webinar looks at public opinion and elections September 26
Saint Leo University Career Services is presenting the Leaders in the Industry webinar series. This series of interactive webinars offers students the opportunity to explore career fields with today’s working professionals.
The next live webinar, Public Opinion and the Upcoming Elections, is scheduled for 4 p.m., ET, Wednesday, September 26, as Career Services welcomes leader Frank Orlando, director of the Saint Leo University Polling Institute.

titute releases polling results six times a year, covering topics ranging from politics to religion to technology. Join us to learn more about the institute’s findings and current social preferences, including those related to upcoming elections. Saint Leo’s Polling Institute survey results have garnered local, regional, national, and even international media coverage in publications such as The Washington Post, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, National Public Radio, Politico, and Bloomberg Businessweek.
Orlando is an instructor of political science at Saint Leo University and manages the day-to-day activities of the polling institute. He has a master’s degree in political science and government from Duke University, where he also completed further graduate studies in public choice policy. His research focuses on American federal institutions and elections, and specializes in Congressional procedure. His work on the Senate has been published in the edited volume, Party and Procedure in the United States Congress, and he is a member of the American Political Science Association.
