Meet Your Faculty series with Dr. Patrick Crerand
The Daniel A. Cannon Memorial Library will host another installment of Meet Your Faculty with Dr. Patrick Crerand at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, in the Library Browsing Area. Dr. Crerand will read from his new book The Paper Life They Lead, a collection of seven short stories, published in 2018 by ARC Pair Press.
“With plots that dive immediat
ely into the absurd, Crerand captures the angst of existential crises, the search for meaning, and moments of depth and beauty through humor and attention to detail,” the publisher stated. “This seven-story collection is funny, serious, and bizarre.”
Crerand will also, in the spirit of the Meet Your Faculty Series, discuss his academic journey, and, in the tradition of the Faculty Colloquium, give a summary of his Spring 2018 sabbatical. You won’t want to miss this sublime literary, academic, and action-packed event.
