Veteran Financial Services to be featured in August Conversations about Success Beyond Service
WHAT:
Getting the most from your Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits can be challenging. It requires knowledge, organization, and lots of advice from the experts! Take this hour to learn all you can from two of our Saint Leo University VA educational benefit experts, Kimberley Steele and Alexis Gilliard-Russo.
Kimberly Steele serves as the associate director of Veteran Financial Services at Saint Leo University. She has more than 12 years of experience in higher education, with expertise in the administration of federal and state financial aid and veterans’ educational benefits.
Alexis Gilliard-Russo is a veterans certification specialist at Saint Leo University and has been a veteran certifying official for 14 years. She was inspired to pursue a career with veterans’ and VA educational benefits after her own experiences with the VA as a military dependent.
