0Prodigy® Cultural Arts Program offering fall classes, summer showcase
Youths are invited to attend the Fall 2023 free visual arts classes hosted by the Prodigy® Cultural Arts Program at Saint Leo University, offering free art classes. Classes for youths ages 5 – 8 and 9 – 13 will take place on Wednesday and Friday with Wednesdays being devoted to clay work and Fridays to studio art.
Classes will be held 4 – 7 p.m., at Saint Leo University, 33701 County Road 52 (formerly State Road 52), St. Leo, FL 33574, in the Fine Arts Building, Room 107. Wednesday classes begin August 9 and Friday classes begin August 11.
Prodigy is sponsored by the University Area Community Development Corp. (CDC) and the State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. The program uses visual arts to help youths build life skills including communication, leadership, goal setting, and problem-solving skills.

ART SHOW: The community is invited to attend Prodigy Moves, an end of summer showcase for the artwork of students in the summer Prodigy® Cultural Arts program at Saint Leo University. Visit the art exhibit from 5 – 7 p.m., on Thursday, August 3, in the Fine Arts Building.
