Saint Leo to host NCAA Division II Softball Championship regional, May 11

The NCAA Division II Softball Committee has selected the 64 teams that will participate in the 2023 NCAA Division II Softball Championship. Four teams will participate at each of the 16 regional sites in double-elimination tournaments, held May 11-13. Winners will advance to the super regionals, slated for May 18-19. The finals will be held May 25-31 at the Frost Stadium at Warner Park at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga  and will be hosted by Lee University, the University of North Georgia, and the Chattanooga Sports Commission.

Saint Leo University will host the South 2 regional, and the Lions will take on Auburn University at Montgomery at noon, Thursday, May 11, at the University Softball Stadium. Come out and cheer on Saint Leo! 

UPDATE:

Due to weather, the Softball Regional games on May 12 have been moved to 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Please make the appropriate changes to your schedule for staff and workers.

  • 10 a.m., #3 Nova Southeastern vs. #7 Auburn University of Montgomery
  • 1 p.m., #2 Saint Leo vs. #6 West Alabama
  • 4 p.m., Loser of GAME 3 vs. winner of game 4
