0Volunteers needed for 2023 Florida commencement activities
Commencement is a cherished university event, and each member of our community has a role in helping students progress to this achievement. As we prepare to celebrate the Class of 2023, the university is calling for volunteers to help make commencement a memorable experience for our students and their loved ones.
There are many jobs to fill on Friday, May 12, and Saturday, May 13, including ushers and greeters, as well as a need for people to help with student check-in, set-up, take-down, and more.
For non-exempt employees, time devoted to the commencement events may calculate in the 40-hour work week. All employees should work with their supervisors to create a schedule to accommodate department coverage and commencement support.
After obtaining approval from your supervisor, email commencement@saintleo.edu by April 28 to sign up. Indicate which events you will be available to support. Additional details will be provided. The schedule of the Florida commencement events is below:
