Join Astronomy Club for Stars on the Water, April 19
Look to the stars! Everyone is invited to join Saint Leo’s newly created Astronomy Club for its first event, Stars on the Water, at 7.30 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, in the Bowl at University Campus.
The club will have telescopes set up for anyone to use to view our universe in more depth. Dr. Harsha Perera, our own astrophysicist and assistant professor of physics/physical sciences, will explain what everyone is viewing.
Big Astronomy: People, Places, Discoveries, a short award-winning documentary will be shown, and pizza will be available for this evening of stargazing.
