Guests invited to Omega Nu Lambda 2023 virtual induction

WHAT
Omega Nu Lambda Online Honor Society (ONL) at Saint Leo University is excited to formally welcome 728 new members to the Iota chapter in this annual virtual induction ceremony. These students accepted their nominations in the spring 2022, summer 2022, fall 2022 and spring 2023 nomination periods. With just six weeks until commencement, students are excited that their academic achievements have not gone unnoticed.

Inductees will be recognized by Saint Leo University President Ed Dadez, Vice President of Academic Affairs Mary Spoto, and ONL advisors Dr. Sheri Bias and Nancy Cheek.

Membership is by invitation only. Students must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate online or education center student. Students must complete 15 credit hours of online courses with a GPA of 3.2 or better for undergraduate students and 3.65 or better for graduate students, to be nominated.

ONL graduates will be seen at the upcoming commencement ceremonies wearing their navy and gray honor cords. Please congratulate all those you encounter!

WHY
The goal of the virtual ceremony is to show that academic excellence can be encouraged and celebrated, regardless of where students are located.

Saint Leo University partnered with ONL in fall 2020 to launch the Iota chapter. Since then, more than 3,300 students have accepted their nominations. ONL was founded with the purpose of acknowledging the academic achievements of remote students, offering scholarship opportunities for these students, and creating community with other Omega Nu Lambda members.
