The Saint Leo community is invited to a book signing by author Seth Sjostrom to benefit Saint Leo’s Mel Greene Institute to Combat Human Trafficking. Sjostrom is the vice president of Campus Outreach/Clinical Development for Varsity Health, Saint Leo’s health partner. His book series, Penance, which features FBI Agent Alex Penance, deals with human trafficking, and he is donating a portion of book sales at the event to the Mel Greene Institute.
Saint Leo University and the Pasco Sheriff’s Office Florida Forensic Institute for Research, Security, and Tactics (F1RST) joined together to form the institute to fight human trafficking regionally, with a concentration on three area counties.
