Human Resources implements holiday hiring pause
Human Resources will implement a holiday hiring pause that will take effect Tuesday, November 15, 2022, through Tuesday, January 3, 2023, following the university holiday break.
Consistent with past practice, the university has paused hiring as the holiday break approaches in order to provide more continuity in the onboarding process for new employees. The last start date for new employees this calendar year will be Monday, November 14, 2022. As a reminder, any requests to hire during this time must be submitted to your divisional vice president and ultimately approved by the vice president of Business Affairs/CFO and associate vice president of Finance. After November 14, 2022, please hold all hiring requests until we return from the holiday break. Exceptions due to unusual circumstances should be discussed with respective divisional vice presidents for consideration.
