0Donate items at Jacksonville Center for domestic violence/sexual assault survivors
The Jacksonville Education Center is collecting donations for Quigley House, Clay County’s only dual-certified domestic violence and sexual assault center. The donations will be presented to the center at its annual Domestic Violence Vigil, at 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, at the Jacksonville Education Center, 9775 Crosshill Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32222.
In consideration of survivors, only new items will be accepted.
- Suggested items for donation include:
- Arts and crafts supplies
- Cleaning supplies—dish soap, laundry detergent, bleach, disinfecting spray and wipes, sponges, and household cleaners
- Gas cards
- Gift cards
- Household items—small appliances, cookware, dishware, cutlery, and glassware
- Linens—twin- and full-size sheet sets, blankets, quilts, pillows, and pillowcases
- Over-the-counter medications (children’s and infant’s Tylenol)
- Paper products—toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, plates, and cups
- Shoes and socks for all ages (women’s, children’s, and men’s)
- Toiletries—full-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and loofah puffs
- Undergarments for all ages (women’s, children’s, and men’s)
Drop off a donation today! Items will be collected until October 26.
