Human Resources announces new online employment, income verification service
Human Resources is pleased to announce the transition from InVerify to Equifax – The Work Number, an income and employment verification service. This service will assist in providing verification information needed to apply for mortgage loans, rental assistance, social service benefits, as well as employment verification for past/future employers.
How to Use the Service:
Please refer verifiers to www.theworknumber.com or (866) 604-6570 for customer support/ assistance. They will be required to register and obtain a login from Equifax – The Work Number secure self-service site.
FOR EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATIONS:
(Including employment status, start date, job title, length of service, etc. with no income information)
Verifier will need:
- Company Code: 27808
- Your Social Security Number
FOR INCOME VERIFICATIONS:
(including payroll data, YTD wages, historical pay information, etc.)
Verifier will need:
- Company Code: 27808
- Your Social Security Number
- A salary key created in your The Work Number self-service portal
SELF SERVICE OPTION:
Employees will also have the ability to access income and employment verification information through The Work Number, including verification letter creation for immigration purposes, as well as view who has executed verification on your information.
To access the self-service option, employees will need to register for an account with The Work Number:
- Visit www.theworknumber.com
- Click “Sign Up”
- Click “Income and Employment Verifications”
- Scroll down to “Access My Employment And Income Data’ and ‘Sign up for Access!”
- Company Code = 27808
- You will receive an email or text to validate your information. Please click the link within the email and confirm your email address. Once confirmed, you can log in to your account.
