WorldWide student newsletter, The Voice, is revitalized
In order to serve the WorldWide community better, Nancy Cheek, associate director of WorldWide student life, and Christine Woods, serving as faculty advisor, have revitalized the longstanding newsletter, The Voice. The newsletter has had a long history of providing quality news targeted and tailored to the needs of online and education center students. This year, the club’s goal is to have more student involvement and ownership of the newsletter and to help WorldWide students develop “a sense of belonging” and community spirit.
The Voice is published several times a year and will be directly sent to students by email and linked to WorldWide social media channels, including Yammer.
Students also can gain valuable teamwork and publishing experience by joining the team at The Voice. Engage Leo is being utilized to encourage students to join the newsletter team or make suggestions for content.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to help educate Worldwide students about the activities and opportunities available to them.
