Join the College of Arts & Sciences for talk on Gender and Health on October 6

Faculty, staff, students, and the public are invited to attend an online talk on Gender and Health by Dr. Michael P. Armato at 7 p.m. (EDT), Thursday, October 6. The College of Arts and Sciences and Department of Social Sciences are presenting this event.

A nationally known expert on masculinity, Armato is a faculty member at the University of Central Florida. He is the co-author of Investigating Gender: Developing a Feminist Sociological Imagination, the textbook used in SOC 334 – The Sociology of Sex and Gender, a Saint Leo University sociology course offered at University Campus during Spring Semester 2023.

Armato’s research interests include the intersections of gender, power, and violence.
