Faculty and staff show support for Ukraine at rally
In an effort to show support for Ukraine, Saint Leo University faculty and students helped to support a rally in downtown Tampa on August 27 in recognition of Ukraine’s independence day. More than 300 people attended.
The rally, held at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, included performances, short speeches, and an address by city of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor. Special thanks to faculty member Sergiy Borysov for helping to make the event possible.
