Esports tryouts set for August 28 through September 2 for students
Do you know a student who is interested in gaming and esports (and who doesn’t, right)? Saint Leo’s esports team is hosting tryouts noon – 5 p.m. (EDT), Sunday, August 28 – Friday, September 2, at the Esports Arena in Apartment Building 5 at University Campus. The esports team also will host tryouts for online students 8 – 10 p.m. (EDT) on those dates through its Discord server, which can be accessed using this link: https://discord.gg/JtmNqG5yry.
Saint Leo’s esports team is a university-funded and sponsored competitive intercollegiate team. Tryouts will be held to compete in League of Legends, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Rocket League, Valorant, Apex Legends, FIFA, and Fortnite.
Faculty and staff are asked to spread the word to students who study at University Campus, our education centers, and online about the upcoming tryouts.
