Lake City Education Center collecting baby items to help new parents
In partnership with the Pregnancy Care Center that services Columbia, Suwannee, Union, and Hamilton counties in Florida, the Lake City Education Center is collecting donations this summer to help new parents.
Donations will be accepted until Wednesday, August 31. Items needed and being accepted include:
- Diapers (newborn/infant size up to 24 months);
- Baby wipes;
- Baby food (unopened, not expired);
- Baby bottles (new only);
- Baby washing detergent, ointments, disinfectant spray, and wipes;
- Gift cards for restaurants or retail outlets; and,
- Goodies for new moms and dads, such as hygiene supplies.
Donations may be dropped off at or shipped to Saint Leo University, Lake City Education Center, 149 S.E. College Place, Building 101, Lake City, FL 32025.
