East Pasco Education Center presenting look at criminal justice degrees, careers

Do you know someone who is interested in law enforcement or related fields? Saint Leo University’s East Pasco Education Center is hosting a look at career possibilities and the university’s bachelor’s and master’s programs in criminal justice at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 28. The session will be held in TECO Hall in the Tapia College of Business and online via Zoom.

Nationally, employment in law enforcement and subfields is projected to grow 8 percent from 2020-2030 and will result in approximately 286,400 new jobs, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. In Pasco and Hernando counties, employment in law enforcement and related fields is projected to grow 8.4 percent from 2021-2029.

Saint Leo’s East Pasco Education Center offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice with specializations in criminalistics and homeland security, and a Master of Science degree in criminal justice with specializations in behavioral studies, corrections, criminal investigations, critical incident management, forensic science, and legal studies.
