Army, Air Force ROTC cadets commissioned in May ceremonies
Three Saint Leo Army ROTC cadets and two Air Force ROTC cadets were sworn in and commissioned as second lieutenants during ceremonies in May.
Saint Leo Army ROTC students (now graduates) commissioned on May 9 were Blake Burman, criminal justice major; Joseph McDermott, management major; and Justin Sierra, management major.
Commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Air Force were Chrisalyn Junkert and Dana Lacour-Wessel. Junkert graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in mathematics on May 14, and she also studied in the Honors Program at Saint Leo University. Lacour-Wessel also graduated on May 14, earned a bachelor’s degree in biology: biomedical and health sciences. She also studied in the Honors Program.
