Community invited to ordination to Catholic priesthood of alumnus Deacon Zachary Brasseur
The community is invited to celebrate the ordination to the priesthood of Saint Leo alumnus Deacon Zachary E. Brasseur at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 21. Brasseur graduated from Saint Leo in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in history. He, along with Deacon Donald J. Amodeo, will be ordained by Most Reverend Gregory L. Parks, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg, FL, at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, 5815 Fifth Ave. N., St. Petersburg, FL 33710
The Mass is open to the public and can also be viewed via livestream on the diocesan website.
Members of the Saint Leo community also are welcome to attend the vespers service, at 7 p.m., Friday, May 20, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. This service also will be livestreamed on Christ the King’s website.
