0Friday events for 2022 Florida commencement announced
Saint Leo University has announced Friday events to celebrate our 2022 Florida commencement ceremonies. Registered Florida graduates, their families, faculty, staff, and volunteers are invited to attend. Attendees can look forward to three events being held on Friday, May 13.
Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
2:30 p.m. | Marion Bowman Activities Center
A hooding ceremony will be held for Doctor of Business Administration, Doctor of Criminal Justice, and Doctor of Education graduates. Only doctoral degree students will receive their hoods at this ceremony.
Campus Tours
Starting at 3 p.m. | Student Activities Building
Attendees are invited to see the sights of our 130-year-old historic campus with a complimentary walking tour.
Baccalaureate Mass
5 p.m. | Marion Bowman Activities Center
Saint Leo University Ministry will hold Mass for graduates, their families, and the Saint Leo community. Mass will be celebrated by Abbot Isaac Camacho. Graduating students will be required to wear academic regalia (graduation gowns) for Baccalaureate Mass.
Saint Leo Under the Stars
6:30 – 8 p.m. | Kirk Hall Lawn
Attendees will enjoy complimentary beverages and a robust selection of tasty hors d’oeuvres immediately following Mass. Graduates will connect with professors and faculty, family, and friends and dance the night away.
Florida students registered for commencement are invited to sign up for these events by April 27.
