Save the Date: Day for Saint Leo is on April 5
Save the date on Tuesday, April 5, for the university’s ninth annual Day for Saint Leo fundraising campaign. This is an exciting 24-hour campaign that unlocks our greatest giving potential in the shortest period of time. As the number of donors and dollars increases throughout the day, the campaign receives large donations through matching gifts from generous university supporters.
Employees who make a gift can inspire others to give back. Watch this short video from alumnus Connor Schaefer ’16, ’18, and find out why any amount you give can make a difference.
Over the years, this important Saint Leo tradition has brought together alumni and the entire university community to raise money that has successfully funded academic programs, student scholarships, the athletics program, and military education, as well as special projects like the new Wellness Center.
There are several ways that employees can help support this important day:
- Make a donation. Whether a one-time gift or ongoing contribution through payroll deduction, all donations can help us reach our goal. Put a reminder in your calendar and plan to make an online donation on April 5 at your.saintleo.edu/dayforsaintleo.
- Become an advocate. Sign up to be a Day for Saint Leo advocate and share messages through social media, video, and email with your co-workers, former students, and friends. Find out how easy it is to become an advocate »
- Show your spirit. Wear green and gold to help generate awareness for the campaign.
