0College of Arts and Sciences faculty present Top Teaching Tips on March 2
Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences will present Top Teaching Tips at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, via Zoom. All full-time and adjunct faculty are invited to join on Zoom and BYOB—bring your favorite beverage—to the screen.
Faculty presenting a 5-minute talk on their top tips include:
- Dr. Tammy Zacchilli, associate professor: “Using Video Creation as a Teaching Tool”
- Dr. Randall Woodard, associate professor of theology: “Speed Dating in the Classroom”
- Dr. Lara Ault, associate professor: “Flipped Classroom in Hybrid Courses”
- Dr. Burgsbee “Lee” Hobbs, associate professor of English: “Pair Work vs. Group Work”
- Dr. Anne Barngrover, assistant professor of English and creative writing: “Using Google Docs for Collaboration”
- Dr. Nataliya Glover, assistant professor: “Cultural Aspects of Peer Review”
- Gianna Russo, assistant professor of English and creative writing: “Accessing Prior Knowledge as a Reading Strategy”
- Dr. Iona Sarieva, associate professor: “Using Mentimeter.com”
