Important news for researchers within university community
The Saint Leo University Institutional Review Board (IRB), which reviews and approves university-affiliated research projects involving human subjects for adherence to safety guidelines and ethical principles, has important news for researchers.
The board has a new application for use by those who will be applying for IRB evaluation, and it is more streamlined than the prior version for ease of use. The new application also is interactive and provides drop-down menus.To find the new application, and all resources for working with the IRB, please visit this webpage.
For the benefit of those who are already working on an application, the IRB will continue to accept proposals based on the old application until Saturday, January 31, 2022. After that date, all applications must be submitted using the new format.
