0Spring Hill Education Office offering para-to-pro info session
Do you know someone who is a paraprofessional in the Hernando County School District but longs to be a teacher? Saint Leo University’s East Pasco Education Center, Pasco-Hernando State College Spring Hill Office, is hosting an information session for the university’s para-to-pro program at 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 17. This free information session will be held via Zoom.
Participants in the para-to-pro program can become a teacher in two years with a full-time position at a Hernando County school and earn teaching credentials and certification. Graduates receive a one-year mentorship upon completion of the program.
Interested students can take classes online as well as in the classroom.
