Human Resources to launch new program, Saint Leo YOU
Today, the office of Human Resources announces the launch of Saint Leo YOU, the university’s newest employee program that allows full-time faculty and staff to take control of your professional development, achieve personal success, and find your path forward.
Saint Leo YOU offers a digital library of nearly 8,000 courses and learning objects in a variety of formats that fit the learning style and interests of the Saint Leo community. Employees have access to courses, videos, books, audio books, and Aspire Journeys. Organized by specific topic and easy to navigate, Saint Leo YOU is skillfully designed to help Saint Leo employees reach the next level in your career, acquire a new skill, or improve skills you already have.
Associate Vice President for Human Resources Susan Martin is very excited about this new resource. “As an institution of higher education, we want not only our students, but also our full-time faculty and staff to embrace lifelong learning,” Martin said. “So, we are encouraging our employees to take the time to explore Saint Leo YOU and discover the abundance of resources it has to offer.”
Powered by SkillSoft Percipio, Saint Leo YOU can be accessed by full-time faculty and staff with one easy click from the “Employees” tab of the Saint Leo University OKTA landing page. Look for the Saint Leo YOU tile and find everything you need to take your learning to the next level. Employees may also benefit from Saint Leo YOU as a springboard for the Center for Alternative Pathway Programs, which offers micro-credentialing, certifications, and professional development units.
