0Saint Anthony Catholic School invites Saint Leo employees to view camps, pre-school offerings
Saint Anthony Catholic School, which is near University Campus in San Antonio, FL, is expanding its educational offerings to include new summer camps with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities, and a voluntary pre-K (VPK) program for the upcoming school year. Many Saint Leo community members are already aware of the proximity and ties the school enjoys with Saint Leo, and the university and school are part of the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg (www.dosp.org). University President Jeffrey Senese has approved the release of this information, on behalf of Saint Anthony Principal Shannon Hall.
New offerings by the school include:
- A Lego® Summer Camp, offered as a day camp with various hours available, will operate during the week of Monday, June 14, through Friday, June 18. It is open to children ages 5 to 12. Prices and more information are available here.
- A second week of day camp, also with various hours available, is called Camp Invention® and is for students entering kindergarten through grade six. Camp Invention® runs from Monday, June 21, through Friday, June 25. Camp Invention® details are on a separate webpage. Camp director Ana Munoz can be reached at amunoz@sacsfl.org
- For the upcoming school year, Saint Anthony will add a voluntary pre-kindergarten program, which is now open for enrollment. Until now, the school has offered instruction from kindergarten through grade eight, and enrollment continues for those levels of instruction, as well. While Saint Anthony follows a Catholic curriculum, students and families from all backgrounds are welcome. A video and more information are available on the school website. Families may also call (352) 588-3041 for more information.
