New dates announced for Florida Commencement ceremonies
The Office of the Registrar recently announced new dates for our Florida Commencement ceremonies. This year the ceremonies will take place on May 21 and 22 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in the Expo Hall.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Florida State Fairgrounds had to reschedule the state fair, pushing back the university’s planned dates for commencement.
Times are still to be determined and will be based on the number of participants. To ensure proper social distancing, guest tickets will be required (at no charge). The number of tickets per graduate also will be dependent on the number of participants.
Registered 2021 and 2020 graduates were sent an email on March 2 with a link to RSVP. Please encourage students to RSVP before March 16.
