Human services student group hosting virtual career event
Faculty and staff are encouraged to mention to students a useful online career-related event organized for this week by Human Services Online Student Leaders. Interested Saint Leo community members are invited to make time from 5 to 7 p.m. (ET), Thursday, March 25, for a session on strategies and resources job seekers can apply when seeking professional positions within their own local or regional areas.
This event should be pertinent to Saint Leo WorldWide students living in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Nevada, or elsewhere.
Human services students will facilitate discussion of the selected topics. Those attending will learn about job-hunting techniques, processes to follow, and helpful resources to explore.
Specific session topics planned are:
- Résumé development
- Job search—online platforms
- Interview preparation and questions
- Community-based job resources
