Leaders in the Industry webinar to focus on career management
Career Services welcomes guest speaker Adrianna Parra, ’14, ’15, digital marketing director at Insightly, a tech company in San Francisco. Prior to joining Insightly, Parra led a digital marketing team in Boston where worked on integrated digital marketing programs for different companies to help them reach their sales goals and performance benchmarks with major Fortune 500 clients. She has also worked on the Online Global Digital Marketing Team of Bain & Company at its headquarters in Boston.
Parra will speak at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 18, on the the topic of career management.
The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) identifies career management as one of eight career competencies employers required in all job candidates for success. This involves identifying and articulating one’s skills, strengths, knowledge, and experiences relevant to a desired position and career goals. It also includes identifying areas necessary for one’s own professional growth.
Parra will share examples from her own experience and provide tips and resources.
